Submit your green energy project details with confidence
Any individual, community, or organisation that is negatively affected by the Africa Go Green Fund LP may submit a grievance against the fund, the portfolio manager, an investee company, or any other party associated with the fund. Grievances should ideally include the following details:
- The identity of the complainant(s): name(s), address(es), and other contact information;
- The identity of the individual, project, or other party related to the fund against whom the complaint is made;
- A description of the issue; and
- A description of any actions taken to date.
AGG is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals are able to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. Anyone who reports a concern in good faith will be protected from any form of reprisal, including dismissal, discrimination, harassment, or intimidation. This commitment applies to all stakeholders, including employees, contractors, suppliers, borrowers, and affected communities. Any allegations of retaliation will be investigated and addressed in line with applicable Cygnum Capital and AGG policies.
Individuals who have submitted a grievance will be kept informed of expected response times and the progress made in resolving their concerns. The identity of the complainant will remain confidential. Grievances may be submitted via email to complaints@cygnumcapital.com. Any complaint received by email will be reviewed by the Fund E&S Officer and automatically shared with the Fund Advisory Committee for independent third-party review. Grievances may also be sent by letter to the Portfolio Manager or Advisory Committee.
Toute personne, communauté ou organisation affectée négativement par Africa Go Green Fund LP peut déposer une plainte contre le fonds, le gestionnaire de portefeuille, une société en portefeuille ou toute autre partie associée au fonds. Les plaintes doivent idéalement inclure les informations suivantes :
- L’identité du (des) plaignant(s) : nom(s), adresse(s) et autres coordonnées ;
- L’identité de la personne, du projet ou de toute autre partie liée au fonds contre laquelle la plainte est formulée ;
- Une description du problème ; et
- Une description des actions entreprises à ce jour.
AGG s’engage à garantir que toutes les personnes puissent faire part de leurs préoccupations sans crainte de représailles. Toute personne signalant un problème de bonne foi sera protégée contre toute forme de représailles, y compris le licenciement, la discrimination, le harcèlement ou l’intimidation. Cet engagement s’applique à toutes les parties prenantes, notamment les employés, les prestataires, les fournisseurs, les emprunteurs et les communautés affectées. Toute allégation de représailles fera l’objet d’une enquête et sera traitée conformément aux politiques applicables de Cygnum Capital et d’AGG.
Les personnes ayant déposé une plainte seront informées des délais de réponse prévus et de l’avancement du traitement de leurs préoccupations. L’identité du plaignant restera confidentielle. Les plaintes peuvent être soumises par e-mail à l’adresse suivante : complaints@cygnumcapital.com. Toute plainte reçue par e-mail sera examinée par le responsable E&S du fonds et automatiquement transmise au comité consultatif du fonds pour un examen indépendant par un tiers. Les plaintes peuvent également être envoyées par courrier au gestionnaire de portefeuille ou au comité consultatif.
